It is Sunday and the time changed and we are making our way down the coast. We had a great ride on Thursday from San Francisco to Half Moon Bay. We forgot to mention that during our stay with the Tidmans, Wil gave us a refresher course on using the Gopro and Jill told us about the project she is working on, helping the Colorado River flow to the ocean once again; it hasn't reached its destination in years. It is an international effort with Mexico and could use your help too! There will be a big announcement on Thursday, so check out the website -
http://www.raisetheriver.org/ and there will be a Will Ferrell and Robert Redford video supporting the project. It is good, and funny!
Our ride Friday to Santa Cruz was another beautiful one with rolling hills and here are some photos.
However, both of us began feeling a bit under the weather. Dana got dehydrated and I began a sore throat/coughing thing so the past couple of days have been slower. We are feeling like old farts.
Here are some sea lions at Moss Landing. They were loudly barking!
And acres and acres of artichokes....
We stopped today short of Big Sur and slept during the afternoon. A friendly motel receptionist gave us a little cottage for a deal- sweet!
